Fueled by the AI boom, Anysphere, the company behind the popular AI coding assistant Cursor, has seen its valuation skyrocket. Investors report that no AI startup has grown as rapidly as Anysphere.
The company announced Thursday that it exceeded $500 million in annual revenue and raised $900 million. Anysphere’s technology now supports more than a million daily users.
The latest funding round values Anysphere at $9.9 billion, a significant jump from its previous $2.5 billion valuation in January, according to Bloomberg.
Anysphere’s Cursor has gained popularity for its ability to complete lines of code and generate new code from prompts. The AI coding tool also corrects errors and offers suggestions to improve code quality.
