Aom Akhapan’s Funeral: A Sea of Mourning on the Fourth Night
The atmosphere during the Abhidhamma prayer ceremony on the fourth night was still filled with sadness. Many people were overcome with emotion, crying and mourning the loss of the famous actor.
Friends, colleagues, and industry peers gathered at the temple to pay their respects to Aom Akhapan, including Siam and Siam Sangwaributr, Ae Maneerat Prasongsanti, Mick Thongraya, Yui Jiranan Manojam, Namwan Kannaporn Puangthong, Benz Punyaporn Poolpipat, Eve Phutthida Sirachaya, Somkiat Chanphram, Som Thansinee Promsut, Chain (Nattawat) Thawatchan Plengsiriwat, Kee Tar Siripich, Tor Pariya Wimonnoj, and Nat Thephasadin Na Ayutthaya.
The Abhidhamma merit-making prayer schedule for Aom Akhapan will take place from Monday, September 23 to Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 6:30 PM. A cremation ceremony will follow on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
