Apple Releases New Open Source Image Editing AI Model: MGIE

Even though Apple doesn’t have a clear generative AI tool like other platforms, there is a new open source like “MGIE” known to be its own “Image Editor” to edit images based on various commands!

This will be custom image editing using natural language or inputting commands with natural language and an open source artificial intelligence model that Apple’s research team developed and researched jointly with the University of California, Santa Barbara.

what image editing can be done as needed Because there are Photoshop-style image editing commands, whether it is editing by adding image elements. Removing objects in the image, adjusting the size and lighting, etc.

To use it just follow the open source link. Then place the image you want to edit in one of the squares. Then try entering commands to edit the image as desired. Then the image will be changed immediately according to the MLLM commands, unless you try to use it during a busy period. Processing will be a little slow.
