# New Apple TV 4K Launch Imminent: what to Expect This Fall
Good news for Apple TV fans! The wait for a new Apple TV 4K might be almost over. Recent reports strongly suggest that Apple is gearing up to release an updated streaming device before the year’s end, and we’re breaking down everything we know.
Apple TV 4K: What’s the Buzz?
This week, Macrumors reported that a new Apple TV 4K is still on track for a launch before the end of the year, citing a reliable source. This news isn’t coming out of the blue, either.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman previously indicated an impending launch, and this latest report serves as strong corroboration. It seems increasingly likely that Apple is preparing to refresh its streaming hardware soon.
When Can You Expect to see It?
Historically,Apple’s Apple TV releases have been a bit unpredictable.Sometiems we see new models unveiled at the September event alongside the latest iPhones, and other times they arrive later in the fall. But my gut feeling? I’m betting on a September debut this year.

Launching a new apple TV 4K alongside the iPhone 17 announcement would be a smart move, allowing Apple to cross-promote its hardware and streaming services. Think about it: a shiny new Apple TV, coupled with a compelling slate of shows and movies on Apple TV+… it’s a recipe for success!
What Features Could the New Apple TV 4K Include?
While concrete details are still scarce, here’s what we’re hoping to see in the next Apple TV 4K:
- A Faster Processor: A more powerful chip (perhaps an A17 Bionic) would deliver smoother performance, faster app loading times, and an overall more responsive experience.
- Increased Storage: More storage options would be welcome, especially for those of us who download games and apps.
- Wi-Fi 6E Support: This would provide a more stable and faster wireless connection, crucial for streaming 4K content.
- Potential Design Refresh: While not a necessity, a slight redesign could give the Apple TV a more modern look.
- Improved Siri Integration: Enhanced Siri capabilities would make navigating and controlling the Apple TV even easier.
