Approval Granted for Phase 2 Double Track Railway Project in Thailand with Budget of 133,146 Million Baht

Mr Nirut Maneepan, Governor of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT), revealed that the SRT board meeting approved the implementation of the double track railway project, Phase 2, 3 routes, with a total budget of 133,146 Million baht. including

  • Pak Nam Pho double track railway project – Den Chai section, distance 281 million baht, budget 81,143 million baht.
  • Jira-Ratchathani Road Junction double track railway project, distance 308 million baht, budget 44,103 million baht
  • double track railway project Hat Yai-Padang Besar Section, distance 45 km, budget 7,900 million baht.
  • The 3 routes are in the process of preparing information to be submitted for approval by the project. After that, SRT will submit a report on the results of this committee meeting to the Ministry of Transport for consideration and approval in February. before submission for approval by the Cabinet (Cabinet)
