Neon Acquires Ugo Bienvenu’s “Arco,” animated Feature
Neon has secured the U.S. distribution rights to “Arco,” the frist animated feature from French director Ugo Bienvenu. The film,which premiered at the cannes Film Festival,is produced by and features the voice of natalie Portman.
This anime-inspired movie centers on a young boy named Arco. He becomes lost in time after using rainbows for time travel, leading to a series of adventures.
Neon has a track record of success with animated films, including the Oscar-nominated “Flee” in 2021 and “Robot Dreams” in 2023. The distributor’s live-action credits include Oscar winners such as “Parasite,” “Anatomy of a Fall,” and “Anora.”
