Arne Slot has publicly addressed speculation regarding his future as Liverpool manager, stating on May 14, 2026, that he believes he will remain in charge for the next season.

However, reporting from journalist Fabrizio Romano indicates that Liverpool still intend to continue with Slot despite the external speculation and rumors regarding contact with Alonso.
