Arrest Made in Kuzhathupuzha Torture Video Case

Kollam: The Kuzhathupuzha police have made an arrest in the case involving the sale of a harrowing video of a 15-year-old girl on Instagram. Vishnu (31), a resident of Kanjirot, along with his wife Sweety (20), have been taken into custody. Sweety, who was recording the disturbing scene of Vishnu torturing the child, allegedly distributed the video to those willing to pay through Instagram. The couple charged up to Rs 1,500 for each instance of this grotesque footage.

The girl, subjected to this cruel treatment under the guise of receiving lessons, endured immense pain and suffering. The police have initiated an investigation into the individuals who purchased these videos, aiming to hold them accountable as well.

Eye Witnesses Detail Their Horrifying Encounter

One witness reports, “Upon questioning, Vishnu claimed that the tortured girl was his daughter. However, the presence of candy in the child’s hand, along with the desperate early morning call to the police, proved otherwise.”

Kollam: A couple who sold the footage of a 15-year-old girl on Instagram in Kuzhathupuzha have been arrested. A resident of Kanjirot, Vishnu (31) and his wife Sweety (20) were arrested. Sweety was recording the scene of Vishnu torturing the child. The police also said that the video was given to those who gave the money through Instagram. They used to sell the torture scenes by charging up to Rs 1,500.

The girl was tortured on the pretext of taking lessons. The police have also started an investigation regarding those who bought the videos.
