Association Kalbéni has launched its cultural season across local communities with live circus arts, music, and community workshops, Centre Presse Aveyron reported. The cultural program aims to bring performances directly to residents across the territory.
Opening Night at Rullac-Saint-Cirq
The season kicked off in Rullac-Saint-Cirq with Résonances, a performance blending circus arts, acrobatics, and music. Centre Presse Aveyron reported that the show features a harpist performing a recital until an unexpected character appears leaning against a Vauban barrier. The encounter builds into a dialogue combining poetry, humor, balance, and acrobatic feats as the artists learn to play together. The performance pairs the melodies of the harp with the aerial movements of a tightrope-walking acrobat.
Ciné-Concert in Lédergues
The cultural calendar continues on November 10 in Lédergues with the return of the Oct’Opus ensemble, Centre Presse Aveyron reported. Composed of eight saxophonistes, the group brings an energetic and original approach to multi-art programming. Oct’Opus will present a ciné-concert combining music and projected images, featuring a creation alongside a Buster Keaton film and a work built around Charlie Chaplin’s musical universe. Projected films and photographs serve as the narrative thread to show the sources of inspiration for the composers and musicians.

Autumn Concert at La Selve
Kalbéni will close its autumn season in December with a concert hosted inside the intimate setting of the church at La Selve, Centre Presse Aveyron reported. The venue choice offers a warm atmosphere for the final music event of the autumn calendar.
Workshops for Seniors on Plant-Based Dyeing
Alongside the performance schedule, Kalbéni runs social cohesion and transmission initiatives in partnership with the Point info seniors and the Association de gérontologie du territoire, Centre Presse Aveyron reported. Morgane Recoules animates a series of workshops inviting participants over 60 years old to discover and experiment with plant-based dyeing. Held across various communes, these creative and environmentally respectful sessions offer residents a moment of sharing and conviviality.
Kalbéni’s regional programming builds on previous local appearances by the Oct’Opus ensemble and ongoing partnerships with territorial senior associations.
