Asure Software, Inc. Reported its first quarter 2026 financial results on April 30, 2026, signaling a shift toward simultaneous growth and profitability for the cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) provider.
The Austin, Texas-based company reported revenue of $42.8 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, representing a 23% increase from the $34.9 million recorded in the same period the previous year. Recurring revenue also saw an uptick, rising to $37.8 million from $33.2 million year over year, a 14% increase.
The financial results mark a transition into profitability at the net income level. Asure reported a net income of $0.6 million, contrasting with a net loss of $2.4 million in the first quarter of the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA grew 69% to $12.3 million, up from $7.3 million in the previous year’s first quarter.
Margin Expansion and Operational Shifts
Profitability gains were accompanied by margin improvements. The company’s non-GAAP gross profit rose to $32.3 million, reflecting a 76% margin, compared to a 75% margin and $26.3 million in gross profit during the first quarter of the prior year. Gross profit stood at $30.5 million, up from $24.6 million.

AI Integration and Future Guidance
Asure is currently focusing on advancing its AI capabilities to improve client experiences and reduce the cost of service. These efforts are being paired with the continued rollout and customer adoption of Asure Central™.
The company provided the following guidance for the remainder of 2026:
- Second Quarter 2026 Revenue: Projected between $36.0 million and $38.0 million.
- Full Year 2026 Revenue: Projected between $159.0 million and $163.0 million.
- Full Year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA: Projected to be between 23% and 25%.
