ASUS announced the launch of the ASUS Googlebook 14, an ultraportable 14-inch notebook engineered specifically for Gemini Intelligence and connection with Android smartphones. Weighing 0.99 kg and measuring 10.9 mm thick, the device combines a magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis with an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor and up to 18 hours of battery life.
Hardware Specifications and Durability Features of the ASUS Googlebook 14
The notebook features a CNC-machined magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis finished in Dusk Ash. ASUS applies Nano Ceramic Technology to the exterior to resist scratches, stains, and abrasion. The hardware meets United States military standard MIL-STD 810H and ASUS Superior Durability benchmarks.
Under the hood, configurations scale up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor, 64 GB of LPDDR5X memory, and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. An internal cooling system maintains performance while operating quietly. A 70 Wh battery supplies up to 18 hours of continuous use.
Display, Audio, and Input Systems
The 14-inch OLED touchscreen runs at a 3K resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,000 nits of peak HDR brightness. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and Corning Gorilla Matte antireflective technology protect the panel and cut glare in bright spaces. Audio output relies on a six-speaker array that includes two force-canceling woofers and two tweeters. Input hardware includes a backlit keyboard with 1.5 mm of key travel and a six-point haptic touchpad.
Gemini Intelligence Integration and Android Connectivity
As the first ASUS notebook built for Gemini Intelligence, the device ships with 12 months of Google AI Pro and 5 TB of cloud storage. Users gain expanded access to Gemini, Flow, and Gemini Notebook features embedded inside standard Google apps. Magic Pointer lets users tap or point at on-screen objects to launch queries, generate content, or extract dates directly into a calendar. Proactive suggestions surface context-aware information from emails, calendars, and active windows automatically. Cross-device workflows let users start tasks on a compatible Android phone and finish them on the notebook, or mirror mobile apps directly to the desktop screen.

Local Ports and Wireless Connectivity
Physical connectivity includes two full-function Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports with Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 support. The frame also houses two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1b output, and a 3.5 mm audio combo jack. Wireless networking relies on built-in WiFi 7 compatibility for local networks and cloud synchronization.
