Samsung did not back down easily. Min-ho Kang’s solo home run at the end of the 2nd ignited the chase, and Jae-il Oh’s single RBI hit at the bottom of the 3rd, Hae-min Park’s single RBI double and Jose Pirella’s single RBI hit in the bottom of the 4th narrowed the score to 6-4.

Samsung, which had risen in momentum, caught up with a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the 7th, with Minho Kang hitting a double with a RBI.

However, Samsung wrote a drama in the last attack at the end of the ninth. When Oh Jae-il landed a shortstop at the full base, he made up for a point with a goal from a third base runner, and then returned the game to the 8-8 score with Kim Ji-chan’s one-run time hit.

Samsung did not miss the opportunity to finish the continued first-country run. Kim Sang-soo’s one-run outfield finish Thanks to a sacrifice fly, he put an end to the long game.

With this victory, Samsung jumped to second place alone with four consecutive wins. They continued their struggle for first place in the second half, chasing the leader KT Wiz by 2.5 games.

On the other hand, SSG fell into a swamp of three straight losses as Jin-Yong Seo failed to keep his three-point lead and collapsed.
