Awami League does not believe in any conspiracy: Home Minister

Home Minister veteran freedom fighter Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, ‘Awami League does not believe in any conspiracy, muscle power or gun barrel. Awami League believes in the support of the people. For this, Awami League is moving forward at a fast pace under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina and will continue to move forward.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the public meeting of Upazila Awami League at Sonaimuri Model High School ground in Noakhali on Sunday.

Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, ‘Close your eyes and think about where Bangladesh came from. The Bangladesh we left when we lost power in 2001, after coming back to power, we found that Bangladesh far behind.’

He said, ‘Bangladesh was in darkness during their rule. But now Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has shown how to move a country forward. He is making a less developed country into a developed country today.’

The Home Minister also said, ‘When the Prime Minister came to power, the poverty rate was 26%. And today the poverty rate has come down to only 5%. If Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is elected again, there will be no poor, the poor people of this country will no longer be poor. We have increased the education rate, improved the health system.’ At this time, the minister called upon the people present to vote again in the Ray boat.
