Junta to Monitor Azucarera’s Transport ‌Costs ​After Bañeza Closure

The Junta de Castilla y León, ⁣through its Ministry of ‍Agriculture, Livestock and Rural ⁤Development, will ‌closely monitor‍ Azucarera’s adherence to commitments made following the closure of the La Bañeza plant in ‍León. A primary concern⁤ is ensuring beet farmers do not incur additional transport costs.

Azucarera has pledged that farmers “will not ‍undergo any change” and that the company will ⁢manage logistics costs for transferring⁣ sugar beet to the Toro factory ‍in zamora province.
