Proving Education to‍ Continue Receiving Family Financial Support

An essential requirement to continue receiving Family Financial ⁢Support for children or dependents.

According to information from ⁢the Cauca Family​ Compensation Fund (Comfacauca), in order⁣ to continue receiving the monthly family subsidy for children, stepchildren or ⁣siblings orphaned by parents, ⁣between 12 and 18‌ years‍ and 11 months old, ⁣they must ⁢prove their education through a certificate issued by the‍ educational institution in which they ⁤study and approved⁢ by ​the Ministry of National Education,‌ proof⁢ of payment or legalization ‌of registration.

Renewal⁢ Dates for the Certificate

School: Age (12 to 18​ years and 11 months)

• Calendar A: March 1​ to April 20,‍ 2024
• Calendar B: September 1 to October 20, 2024

University: ‌Age‌ (Up‍ to 18 years and 11 months)

• First semester 2024: March 1 to April 20, 2024
• Second⁤ semester: September 1 to October 20, ⁢2024

If the⁤ beneficiary turns 12 outside the dates described or‍ if the educational ⁣institution⁣ issues the certificate on⁣ later ⁢dates, they can present the⁢ certificate. There will be a ‌retrospective⁢ effect of two months from the⁣ date ‌of filing.

The School Certificates are received by emailing afiliapop@comfacauca.com or at the Comfacauca Family Support offices in Popayán, Santander de Quilichao, Puerto Tejada, El⁣ Bordo and Guapi.
