CSKA Sofia’s poor performance continues under new coach Alexander Tomas. The “Red” suffered another loss, this time against Botev Plovdiv with 0:1. The winning goal for Botev was scored by Ukaki, who capitalized on a mistake by Hristiyan Petrov. Only 200 Plovdiv fans watched the match played at the Lokomotiv Stadium, while CSKA continued to serve its penalty for matches without an audience.

In the 81st minute, Nwachukwu tested Busato’s reflex from mid-range, but the keeper responded well. In the final minutes of normal time, Hristiyan Petrov could have made up for the goal when he shot from close range after a corner kick, but Bernat made an acrobatic save. By the end of the game, the hosts could not equalize and suffered their fifth defeat since the start of the season. Botev, for his part, recorded a fourth straight win from four away games,
