Mumbai City Stages Thrilling Comeback to Draw 2-2 with Mohun Bagan Super Giant

Kolkata – In an electrifying Indian Super League (ISL) match, Mumbai City staged an incredible comeback from two goals down to end in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Mohun Bagan Super Giant.

Mohun Bagan Super Giant had taken the lead in the first half, scoring two goals. However, Mumbai City equalized with a goal scored by Thayer Krauma in the closing stages of the game. Tiri scored Mumbai’s first goal in the 70th minute, making up for his earlier mistake that led to Bagan’s first goal.

Match Highlights

Bagan took the lead in the 10th minute when Liston Collazo’s cross from the left hit the leg of a Mumbai defender and into his own net. Before half an hour, Bagan took the lead through a team goal. Dimitri Petratos’ corner kick was blocked by Mumbai goalkeeper Purba Lachenpa, but Jason Cummings got the ball and passed it to Ashish Rai, who gave a cross to Golmukh. The ball was headed by Greg Stewart, and Alberto Rodríguez scored with a stunning shot.

After the break, Mumbai City took the lead. Tiri made up for his mistake, and Nikos Karelis created the opportunity. Malayali player PN Nauphal created the chance for Krauma’s goal.
