Market Analysis
Mr. Sorapon Weeramethikul, Assistant Managing Director and head of the investment strategy team at Kasikorn Securities, stated that the Thai stock market rose well in the morning session, in line with Asian stock markets responding to the sentiment that the baht is strengthening, supporting continued foreign capital inflows. Stocks in the commercial banking group continued to rise.
The afternoon trend is expected to move within the support range of 1,420 points and the resistance level of 1,430 points. Next week, the market will be watching the government policy campaign, specifically the digital wallet giveaway, and the Federal Reserve (Fed) meeting, where the market expects a 0.25% interest rate cut.
