The Eid prayer will be offered on Wednesday at 6:53 a.m
According to the Rijaset Calendar of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the first day of Eid al-Fitr is on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The central ceremony in the area of the Muftiluk of Zenica will be held in the Sultan Ahmedova – Čaršija mosque in Zenica.
Sabah prayer will be offered at 5:30, followed by the recitation of Surah Yasin for the martyrs, the recitation of ilahi and qasida, wazu-nasihat, which will be held by prof. Ph.D. Zuhdija Adilović, and at 6:53 the Eid prayer will be performed and the Eid sermon will be delivered by mufti of the Zenica Hfz. prof. Ph.D. Mevludin ef. Dizdarević. From 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. there will be a traditional congratulation – reception in the premises of the Mufti of Zenica.
A day later, on Thursday, the Martyrs’ Day will be celebrated in all majlis in the area of the Muftiluk of Zenica. The central ceremony for the Muftiluk area will be organized in Žepč, at the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Gornja Mahala, starting at 1:30 p.m. As part of the commemoration of Martyrs’ Day, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the premises of the “Cultural and Sports Center” in Zavidovići, starting at 5:00 p.m., there will be a performance of the “Poem about the Bosnian White Martyr”. The visit of the delegation of the Mufti of Zenica and the Majlis of the Islamic Community of Zenica to the Zenica Correctional Institution will be organized on Friday, April 12.
