The Ministry of Public Health has launched a Quick Win scheme to administer 1 million doses of the HPV vaccine within 100 days as part of efforts to prevent cervical cancer. According to statistics, cervical cancer is the second most common form of the disease among Thai women, with a mortality rate of over 50%. The most effective prevention method is to receive the HPV vaccine before becoming sexually active, when the body’s immune system is most capable of developing a strong defense.

Free HPV vaccination available for girls aged 11-20 at 11 walk-in stations in Bangkok

Bangkok’s medical office has announced the opening of 11 walk-in stations to provide free HPV vaccination services for girls aged 11-20. The vaccination program is available for those born between 1 January 2003 and 31 December 2012. The stations are located at various hospitals and operate during specific hours from Monday to Friday. The services are set to commence from 13 November 2023.

Monday – Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm at Community Health, 2nd floor, King Taksin Maharat Building.
