A Dreamy Weekend at Dunowen House
the couple’s wedding ceremony was a highlight, with Dunowen House providing a stunning backdrop and impeccable service. “Everything and anything I needed, she sorted, and I am very grateful to her,” Emma shared, highlighting the extraordinary support received. The venue’s commitment to detail was evident throughout the weekend.
“They set up the ceremony for us, popped the champagne and kept it flowing, provided all the catering and the most perfect accommodation and also going above and beyond,” the couple praised. This dedication ensured a seamless and joyous experience for Emma, Joseph, and their guests.
The intimate nature of the wedding was a key element for the couple. “Everyone stayed for the two nights and we played board games in the evenings,” they recalled. This created a relaxed atmosphere, allowing for genuine connection and shared enjoyment. The most memorable aspect for Emma and Joseph was “the house and entire relaxed experience as we had never been to a wedding like it before, so having such a small wedding and venue made the experience all the more intimate.”

The couple couldn’t be happier with the results. “She is so talented and everyone is still talking about how remarkable the photographs are, we constantly get complimented on them,” they said, underscoring the lasting impact of Anna’s artistry.
A “Happily Ever After” Celebration in Dingle
Following their intimate wedding weekend,Emma and Joseph hosted a “happily ever after” party the subsequent Saturday at Dannos in Dingle. This event provided another prospect to celebrate with a wider circle of friends and family.
The party was filled with fantastic entertainment and personal touches. “Paulie O’Brien played fantastic Irish trad on guitar and sang,” the couple shared. The musical celebration continued with family members taking to the mic to sing songs, creating a heartwarming and communal atmosphere. Adding to the sweetness of the occasion, ”A friend of ours, Katie fitzgerald, made the wedding cake for the after party in dannos.”
Emma and Joseph reflected on their dual celebrations, stating, “We felt like we had the best of both worlds, a relaxed, intimate wedding weekend and a chance to celebrate after with friends and family.” This approach allowed them to experience the profound intimacy of a small gathering while also enjoying the vibrant energy of a larger celebration.
