Investigators revealed that Suzanne’s death involved the presence of butorphanol-azaperone-medetomidine (BAM),a potent animal tranquilizer. According to the indictment,Barry Morphew was the only private individual in that area of Colorado with access to BAM at the time of Suzanne’s disappearance.
According to Barry, Suzanne was asleep in bed the morning of her disappearance, and he believed she planned to go for a bike ride. However, investigators suspect she was already dead.
