Artist Basil Khayyat revealed the details of his childhood and life before fame and his entry into the world of acting, stressing that what he experienced in childhood was what most influenced his life and his formation so far.
Basil Khayat explained that he was just a spectator of his life, and continued, saying: “I am the environment that influenced me and my personality, it is my neighborhood in which I lived,” adding: “I was just a spectator watching life, and I always felt that I was an extra, not an active person.”
He continued during his hosting on the “Big Time” podcast with Amr Adeeb and Asala: “I was the follower in life and I always played in an orbit that was not mine, and this was because of the house, because my family’s relationship was not good, so I used to see that my life resembled novels.”

Basil Khayyat revealed that he worked as a street vendor before acting, saying: “One of the jobs I worked was that I was a street vendor. I used to sell women’s bags with a friend of mine in elementary school, because the family culture is that young people must work.”
It is noteworthy that the artist Basil Khayyat participated during the Ramadan 2024 drama season in the series “A Look of Love”, starring Carmen Basibis, written by Rafi Wehbe, and directed by Hossam Ali.
