Bassey, a singer, shared details about her career beginnings during an interview with Muhammad Qais on the “I Have a Question” podcast. She discussed her first job with a music band led by Hossam Abu Al-Saud, which performed at weddings in Deir Najm, near Zagazig. In her early days, she sang a song for Sherin, inspired by her admiration for the artist.

Bassey revealed that she has no formal music education and gained experience through theater. Her first salary was £15, which she earned during a year with the band. Eventually, she felt compelled to join the DJ trend. She now regards that as her worst decision after noticing the rising costs of her earnings.

Recently, Bassey released a new song titled “Akbalko,” available on her official YouTube channel.
