Kanae Murakami flute
Born in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.
Started playing the flute at the age of 11.
2nd place in the 68th All-Japan Student Music Competition Flute Division in Nagoya and selected for the national competition.
Appeared as a soloist at the 70th regular concert of Nagoya City Kikuri High School Music Department through internal selection.
Completed Vincent Lucas’ class at the 2019 Music Alp Summer International Music Academy. In November of the same year, she performed with Mr. Lucas in his recital held in Japan.
Based on his performance at graduation, he was recommended to perform at the graduation concert sponsored by the Wind and Percussion Club, the 44th Yomiuri Chubu Newcomers’ Concert, and the 49th Flute Debut Recital sponsored by the Flute Association.
Completed a master class with Seiya Ueno at the 43rd Kirishima International Music Festival. He also appeared in the Kirishima Festival Orchestra at the 43rd Kirishima International Music Festival as a selected student.
Performed at the 22nd Beppu Argerich Music Festival, Chofu International Music Festival 2021 Festival Orchestra, and the 9th debut concert sponsored by Dolce Musical Instruments.
Attended master classes with Vincent Lucas and Virgil Arago, as well as lessons with Wolf-Dieter Schaaf, Hiroki Koyama, and Kaori Fujii.

To date, he has studied flute with Haruhiko Fukuda, Noriko Suto, Seiya Ueno, Mari Nakano, and Masayuki Kai.
Studied chamber music with Shigenori Kudo, Mari Nakano, Yuki Yasuhara, Kazusa Mizutani, Yasushi Katsumata, Kenji Matsumoto, Fumiaki Miyamoto, Masahiro Aizawa, Yuya Kanda, and Toshiki Shinohe.
Graduated from Nagoya City Kikuri High School, Department of Music, Tokyo College of Music, Faculty of Music, Department of Music, and Graduate School of Music, Master’s Program.
Currently, in addition to working as a teaching assistant at Tokyo College of Music High School, he has appeared in many concerts, including guest performances with professional orchestras such as the NHK Symphony Orchestra, and chamber music.
Akira Mochizuki (piano)
Received 2nd place and Iwatani Prize in the piano category at the 89th Japan Music Competition, and the Grand Prize in the piano category at the Tama Fresh Music Concert 2016.
His activities in chamber music are wide-ranging, and he won the Music Director Award at the 42nd Kirishima International Music Festival as a triospera, and won the Competition Committee Special Award as a co-star in the violin section at the 88th Japan Music Competition. In addition to serving as the official accompanist at Ishikawa Music Academy, in recent years he has performed with Futsuo Tokunaga, Kaeko Mukaiyama, Ryo Sasaki, and others. In the summer of 2023, he will perform with Taro Hakase and Akiko Ono at Yatsugatake Kogen Lodge Summer Resort Music Week. In recent years, he has been active in a wide range of areas, including serving as a pianist for the voice actor recital drama Vorresen.
So far, she has studied piano with Keiko Imai, Izumi Komori, and Shigeo Neriki. Studied chamber music with Shigeo Neriki and Nobuko Yamazaki.
After graduating from Toho Girls’ High School’s music department, she graduated at the top of her class from Toho Gakuen University’s music department. Currently enrolled in the same graduate school’s master’s program as a scholarship student.

Kano Ariga (violin)
Graduated from Toho Women’s High School Music Department (coeducational) and Toho Gakuen University Music Department.
He will be a contract member of the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra in 2023.
Currently serves as concertmaster of the NEXT Orchestra of the Tokyo Opera NEXT General Incorporated Association.

This is a concert series in which artists introduce the next performing artist and hold it in a relay format. The participating artists are flying around the world one after another.
