JAKARTA – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) has announced it’s decision to repurchase shares, a move commonly known as a buyback. The bank has allocated Rp 1 trillion for this initiative, following similar actions by other KBMI 4 banks.
According to a disclosure made public on March 25, 2025, the buyback will commence on March 26, 2025, and continue until June 24, 2025, spanning a maximum of three months from the disclosure date. The company retains the option to conclude the buyback before June 24, 2025, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
The management stated that,In accordance with POJK 13/2023,the number of shares to be carried out by the buyback will not exceed 20% of the company’s paid up capital.
