Delhi: BCCI Secretary Jai Shah clarified the inclusion of Sanju Samson in the Indian cricket team. BCCI secretary explained that there are players like Sanju Samson to replace Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan. Jai Shah said that he was not the reason why the two lost the BCCI contract.
Anyone can check BCCI rules. He alone is the convener. The chief selector decides who should be included in the BCCI contract. So this decision was taken by Ajith Agarkar. Jai Shah also responded that Agarkar had decided to ban players who were not playing domestic cricket.
He had spoken to Shreyas and Chishan. Hardik Pandya had said that he is ready to play domestic cricket if he is considered for the Indian team. Similarly anyone can play domestic cricket. Jai Shah said that no one can play.
