The Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency has announced plans to host a ‘Youth Gambling Eradication Slogan Contest’ to raise awareness about the dangers of youth gambling.
As gambling, once considered an adult crime, has begun to spread among young people, there is a growing need to address this issue and promote a healthier lifestyle.
The contest will focus on three key topics: ‘The seriousness and dangers of youth gambling’, ‘Content informing that youth gambling is not a game but a crime’, and ‘Content supporting a healthy school life without youth gambling’.
The application period for the contest will run until the 24th. Interested participants can submit their applications, along with a slogan of approximately 20 characters, to the email address listed on the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency website.
Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency Chief Kim Hak-kwan emphasized the importance of addressing youth gambling, stating, “Gambling that starts out of curiosity can become addictive like drugs and threaten the healthy growth of teenagers.” He encouraged the public to participate in the contest and help eradicate youth gambling.
