BFAIR’s Day Habilitation and Adult Family Care Services Earn CARF Accreditation
Berkshire Family & Individual Resources (BFAIR) has received a significant boost,earning a three-year accreditation from the Commission on accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for its Day Habilitation and Adult Family Care (AFC) programs. This accreditation extends through 2028, marking a period of recognized quality in adult family care and day services.
The CARF surveyors highlighted BFAIR’s commitment too enhancing the lives of those they serve. They noted that BFAIR’s services, staff, and documentation demonstrate a consistent adherence to established standards, ensuring quality day habilitation.
”This achievement is an indication of [BFAIR’s] dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel, and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of conformance to standards,” CARF surveyors said.
Ethel Altiery, interim CEO of BFAIR, praised the staff’s dedication. She emphasized that the three-year accreditation reflects the high-quality adult family care BFAIR provides.
