The highly anticipated trailer for Black Phone 2 has arrived,offering a glimpse into the next chapter of the Blumhouse horror franchise. Following weekend teases, the studio officially unveiled the first look during its CCPX panel, confirming Ethan Hawke’s return as the terrifying Grabber.
Picking up years after the original, the sequel sees Finney (Mason Thames) and Gwen (Madeline McGraw) Blake grappling with the aftermath of the Grabber’s demise. As another Colorado winter sets in, gwen experiences vivid dreams of the Grabber’s lair and the tragic fate of young boys at Alpine Lake Youth Camp. The grabber resurfaces through a black payphone near the camp, threatening revenge on the teens, blurring the lines between dreams and reality.
Director Scott Derrickson, returning to helm the black Phone sequel, told The Hollywood Reporter that Black Phone 2 maintains the ghost story elements of its predecessor, but with the villain now embodying the ghost itself. with the characters aged into high school,Derrickson and co-writer C.
