During the results show, Evans and Jones faced Olympian Montell Douglas and partner Johannes Radebe. The judges unanimously chose to save Douglas and Radebe after they performed a Salsa. Evans expressed gratitude for the experience, stating, “It’s been wonderful… If I can come and do Strictly and last until week nine, then anybody can get out there and dance.”
Jones praised Evans, saying he brought joy and laughter to their training. She appreciated their partnership, describing it as a joyful experience.
Evans reflected on their time together, thanking Jones for her support and stating, “To have been partnered with Katya has been amazing.” He also noted that they apologized for a controversial moment during their performances, feeling it was misunderstood.
