Diablo and Berserk Unite: Blizzard‍ and Beast in Black Forge Metal-Fueled Crossover

Blizzard Entertainment is‍ collaborating with Finnish‍ heavy metal​ band Beast in Black‌ to create an exclusive song,​ “Enter the Behelit,” as ⁣part of‍ a crossover between ‌the ⁣diablo⁤ universe and the dark fantasy world of ⁢Berserk.

the crossover event will ​launch in ​Diablo⁤ IV on May 6 and in Diablo Immortal, the mobile⁢ version, ⁣on May‌ 1.

Both⁢ Diablo and ‌Berserk explore themes of⁢ good versus ⁣evil set against backdrops of intense darkness, making the collaboration a ⁣natural fit for fans ⁢of both franchises.

Limited Edition Maxi Single Details

The limited-edition maxi single of “Enter the Behelit” will feature the new ​song inspired by Berserk and created specifically for the game. It‌ will also include ⁢remastered versions of⁢ Beast in Black fan favorites: “Die by the Blade,” “Angel with⁣ a ⁢Scythe,” ⁢and “The Fifth Angel” from the band’s debut album.

Beast in Black’s music ofen draws⁢ inspiration from Berserk’s ‌lore and characters, reflecting themes of struggle, overcoming adversity, and ​battling inner demons – topics ⁢prevalent in‍ the Diablo franchise​ as well.

Only 200 copies of the ‌maxi single have been pressed ‍on marbled black and red vinyl. The album art, inspired by Diablo IV and ⁢Diablo Immortal, was created in collaboration with the ⁢Diablo art team and Berserk’s IP ⁤holders.

The vinyl‌ cover features Diablo IV artwork, while the back cover showcases key art⁤ from Diablo Immortal.

Each vinyl also includes a zootrope slipmat, band stickers,⁣ behind-the-scenes negatives, ⁣and conceptual art from the Diablo ‍IV​ development‌ team related to⁤ the Berserk association.
