Al-Oruba Secures First Victory in Saudi Roshan League
Al-Oruba’s first football team achieved a significant milestone in the Saudi Roshan League, securing their first victory on Thursday at the Al-Jouf University Stadium. The team defeated their guests, Al-Fateh, with a clear goal in the ”We Dream and Achieve” round, marking the fourth round of competition.
Spanish signing Christian Tello, who previously represented Al-Fateh last season, scored the winning goal in the 51st minute. This victory marked a turning point for Al-Oruba, snapping their three-round losing streak, which included two consecutive defeats and one draw.
With this win, Al-Oruba raised their score to 4 points, with two wins in each, equaling Al-Fateh’s tally of five in the professional league since the start of the 2008–2009 season. The team’s victory has brought new hope to their fans, who gathered at the match to cheer them on.
On the other hand, Al-Fateh’s balance remains frozen at 3 points after their second loss in a row and the third after 4 rounds of the league. The team will need to regroup and strategize to regain their footing in the competition.
