A very strange and mysterious image was captured on a telescope camera in Japan the other day. A strange blue spiral shaped object shines in the clear night sky. The strange object can be seen in a video shared on YouTube by the official account of the Subaru Telescope under the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. Although many netizens said it was an alien flying saucer, Japan’s National Astronomical Observatory said the incident was frozen rocket fuel ejected during a SpaceX launch.

SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk, launched a navigation satellite into space on Wednesday, January 18 at 7:24 am local time. Just after this, a strange sight was recorded in the Japanese telescope. Satellite tracker Scott Tilley also says the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan’s claims are accurate given the location of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and the location of the spiraling light.
