BMW Motorrad Concept CE 02 new electric motorcycle prototype for teenagers

The new BMW Motorrad Concept CE 02 is an electric motorcycle prototype designed especially for youngsters. It has a top speed of 90 km/h and a driving distance of about 90 km per charge.

The new BMW Motorrad Concept CE 02 is unveiled ahead of its real debut at the IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich, Germany. It states that it is a vehicle designed to focus primarily on urban use. make driving fun With a small car that weighs only 120 kg, targeting customers aged 16 and over.

The body of the BMW Motorrad Concept CE 02 is designed to be flat. With a seat with a height of only 730 mm from the road, it has a lower center of gravity than general motorcycles. Complemented by large disc wheels at the front and rear, BMW Motorrad says this design will appeal to users even if they have never ridden a motorcycle before.

The BMW Motorrad Concept CE 02 is powered by an electric motor with a maximum power of 11 kW, or approximately 15 horsepower (PS). It is suitable for those who hold an A1 class license or motors with an engine size up to 125 cc, or a scooter. It can reach a top speed of 90 km/h with a battery that offers a driving range of approximately 90 km per charge (based on WMTC standards).

Alexander Buckan, Head of Design at BMW Motorrad, said: “The BMW Motorrad Concept CE 02 is the perfect companion for everyday commutes. You’ll love it because it’s always ready to go with you even if you don’t take good care of it. It can also be decorated with stickers, tape, or anything else to express yourself.”
