Gunners Qualify for Round of 16 with 5-1 Victory

Arsenal secured a resounding 5-1 win over Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday, advancing to the Round of 16 in the English Professional Football League Cup.

The Gunners dominated the first half, with goals from Declan Rice and Ethan Nwaneri in the 16th and 37th minutes, respectively, at the Emirates Stadium.

Nwaneri continued his impressive performance, scoring Arsenal’s third goal just four minutes into the second half.

Bolton managed to reduce the deficit with a solo goal by Aaron Collins in the 53rd minute, but Arsenal quickly regained their momentum.

Raheem Sterling scored his first goal in a Gunners jersey since joining from Chelsea this summer, doubling Arsenal’s advantage in the 64th minute.

Kai Havertz sealed the win for Arsenal, scoring the team’s fifth goal in the 77th minute.

Notably, Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta made seven changes to the starting lineup, with young English goalkeeper Jack Porter being the most prominent change.

At just 16 years and 72 days old, Porter became the youngest player to start a match for Arsenal, breaking the previous record set by Cesc Fabregas.
