Following the cancellation of Bonnaroo 2025 in Manchester, Tenn.,due to severe weather,organizers are now providing full refunds to festival attendees. The decision comes after initial criticism of a proposed partial refund.
The Manchester, Tennessee, music festival was canceled last week as updated weather forecasts predicted hazardous conditions for on-site camping, including heavy thunderstorms. The first day of Bonnaroo, June 12, featured performances by Luke Combs and Rebecca Black. Though, the remaining event was called off Friday night due to the impending extreme weather.
tyler, The Creator, John Summit, and Glass Animals had been scheduled to headline Friday night. Olivia Rodrigo, Avril Lavigne, and Justice were set to lead Saturday’s lineup.Hozier, Vampire Weekend, and Queens of the Stone Age were slated to conclude the festival on Sunday.
Organizers addressed the situation in a statement. “We are beyond gutted,but we must make the safest decision and cancel the remainder of Bonnaroo,” they saeid.”We are going to make things right with you.”
After announcing initial plans for 75% refunds, Bonnaroo officials responded to criticism with an Instagram post on June 20. “Still listening and actively discussing plans to improve The Farm,” the post stated, announcing the updated 100% refund policy.
