PT Aneka Petroindo Raya (APR), operator of BP-AKR gas stations, is in negotiations to purchase fuel directly from Pertamina Patra Niaga, perhaps impacting three stations.
Negotiations with Pertamina Ongoing
PT Aneka Petroindo Raya (APR) is currently negotiating with Pertamina Patra Niaga to resume purchasing fuel directly from the state-owned oil and gas company. If finalized, this would mean three BP-branded gas stations will source their fuel from Pertamina.
Laode, a representative from APR, stated that the negotiation process is still underway. He acknowledged a lack of specific knowledge regarding the challenges faced by gas station operators, which has contributed to the ongoing discussions.
“If you want to ask about obstacles,it is more appropriate for those in B2B [business-to-business],we don’t know because some have succeeded and some are still being discussed. If those are accomplished, that means they have proven that there are no obstacles. If not, ask those who haven’t, why,” Laode explained, as reported by Kompas.com.
VIVO and BP Previously Canceled Fuel Purchases
This progress follows a previous proclamation where VIVO and BP canceled plans to purchase fuel from Pertamina. Details surrounding those cancellations were not provided in the original report.
