Sao Paulo: Brazil suspends Argentina World Cup qualifier. The match was called off after four Argentine players complained that they did not follow Kovid’s protocol.
Complaints were raised against Martinez, Lo Celso, Romero and Amy Bundia. Brazilian health ministry officials went to the ground and demanded that the players from the UK leave the ground.
The Brazilian Ministry of Health has said that players playing in the English Premier League were playing for Argentina and that the reason for excluding Argentine players was that they did not follow the quarantine rules.
