Today, Sunday, the Economic Court decided to reserve the trial of Mayer El-Beblawi and Sheikh Muhammad Abu Bakr, in the case of insult and slander between them, for the November 24 ruling session.

The Public Prosecution referred the complaint filed by Mayer al-Beblawi against Sheikh Muhammad Abu Bakr, in which he accused him of insults and defamation, to the Financial and Economic Affairs Prosecution to initiate an investigation.

Mayer al-Beblawi’s defense submitted a report to the public prosecution against Sheikh Muhammad Abu Bakr, without prior warning or agreement, for publishing a video clip on his personal page on the social networking site, in which he directed insulting, slanderous expressions. , and insulting her client’s honor and chastity, accusing her of adultery and according to the report filed against her husband.

Al-Beblawi’s defense added in its report that Sheikh Muhammad Abu Bakr caused psychological harm to his client and his son and that it was intentional, exploiting Mayer al-Beblawi’s name for financial gain and his speech on a program.
