The Islamabad High ⁤Court had​ previously ordered the removal of Senator Shibli Faraz’s name from the exit control ⁤list on August 2.

The petitioner’s lawyer had ⁢informed the court that there were four FIRs against Senator Shibli Faraz, all of ⁣which he had been granted bail for. The court had asked the public prosecutor⁣ to explain ⁤the basis ⁤for the ECL⁤ listing.

The public prosecutor had stated that they ​would follow the court’s order, but Justice Jahangiri had expressed dissatisfaction with the Ministry of Interior and DG Passports’ responses.
