2024 Futsal World Championship in Uzbekistan to be Broadcast Live on T Sport 7
Madam Pang Nuanphan Lasam, President of the Football Association of Thailand, has revealed exciting news for futsal fans. The 2024 Futsal World Championship in Uzbekistan will be broadcast live on T Sport 7 channel, allowing Thai fans to cheer on their national team.
The Thai national futsal team, fresh from their victory in the 2024 Continental FUTSAL Championship, will compete in the Futsal World Cup for the 7th consecutive time in Asia. They are ranked 2nd in Asia and 9th in the world, and will face stiff competition in Group B, which includes Brazil, the number 1 team in the world.
Madam Pang Nuanphan Lasam expressed her pride in the team’s achievements, stating, “Futsal is one of the important faces and the biggest pride of the association. We are currently ranked 2nd in Asia, 9th in the world, and also have the right to go to the Futsal World Cup for the 7th time in a row.”
The President of the Football Association of Thailand also thanked Vice President Adisak Benjasiriwan and Dr. Kongsak Yodmanee, SAT Governor, for their roles in securing the broadcast rights. She believes that the live broadcast will be an important driver for the coaching staff and young athletes.
The 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup group stage program will see the Thailand national team compete in Group B, with all matches played at the Bukhara Universal Sports Complex in Uzbekistan. Their first match is against Croatia on September 14th at 5:00 pm (Thailand time).
