A confession of obligation for the paint attack on the home of the head of Bremen‘s Office for the Protection of the Constitution has been published on a far-left internet platform. The text describes the overnight attack and explains the motivation behind it,police said on Sunday. The state security service is currently verifying the authenticity of the letter and continuing its inquiry.
According to police, the authors of the letter fundamentally reject the Office for the Protection of the Constitution and demand its abolition. Threats are also made to those responsible for the authority.
Neighbor’s car damaged
Unknown individuals threw paint-filled Christmas ornaments at the wall of the head of the authority, Thorge Koehler, during the night on Saturday. In addition, according to police, thay smashed the windows of a nearby car belonging to a neighboring family and slashed the tires.
