Katinat Coffee’s Charity Work
Recently, the Katinat coffee chain has been making a splash on social media with its charity work. The brand had initially planned to donate 1,000 VND for every cup of water sold at the system from September 12 to September 30 to support the North in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
However, the online community immediately reacted to this charity program, and the Katinat brand had to post an apology to customers on its fanpage.
Katinat Coffee has since announced that it has contributed 1 billion VND directly to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front – Central Relief Committee, instead of deducting and transferring each day based on the actual number of cups of water served as planned.
