Paris Saint-Germain Coach Luis Enrique Focuses on Rennes Match

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has confirmed that his current focus is on facing Rennes in the French Football League, ahead of a busy schedule for his side in the coming period.

Paris Saint-Germain are unbeaten in the French league so far, leading the competition on goal difference over their rivals. The team will meet second-placed Rennes on Friday, marking the first of three matches in ten days for Paris.

Following the Rennes match, the team will travel to London to face Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday, before facing Nice before the international match calendar period.

Despite the team’s busy schedule, Enrique emphasized that his focus is solely on Friday’s match against Rennes. “Rennes are a big team and are first in the competition standings, and can cause us problems,” Enrique stated during a press conference.

Enrique added, “In front of us, the competitors are changing a lot. Rennes is used to playing in a high-pressure style, but I don’t think they will do that on Friday because they are a team that can adapt to the course of the match.”

The Paris Saint-Germain coach expressed optimism about the upcoming match, stating, “My job is to deal with these things, and they are one of the top teams in the standings. There are no easy matches, and there will be many problems, but I am optimistic when we play such matches.”

When asked about the upcoming match against Arsenal, Enrique replied, “I haven’t thought about Arsenal yet because we have a game against Rennes. We have to win the game against Rennes, and I don’t think about anything else in the future at the moment.”
