British functional beverage brand G Spot receives strategic investment from Heineken

On November 12, G Spot Wellness Drinks, a British soft drink brand founded by Gillian Anderson, has reached a strategic partnership with Heineken. Launched 12 months ago, G Spot aims to tap into the wellness market with its range of adaptogen and nootropic-infused soft drinks, and is available from a variety of retailers across the UK. Heineken’s support is expected to drive G Spot’s nationwide expansion, boost distribution and increase brand awareness to meet growing demand for functional, natural and healthy drinks. The brand launched in the US in October this year and as part of its wider growth strategy, G Spot is looking to expand internationally and is preparing for further growth. Gillian Anderson said: “I’m delighted to be partnering with Heineken, which allows us to take the next step in developing G Spot as a bold alternative to traditional wellness brands. We’re excited to continue to grow our business by prioritizing natural ingredients, vegan formulas and functional benefits beverages to empower people, especially women – while redefining what it means to live well. G Spot’s products include Lift, made with red berries and sarawak, to uplift the spirit; and soothing, with fresh apples and muesli. Made from tangerine to calm the mind and emotions; Protect Made with lemon, ginger, and turmeric for a refreshing flavor; and Arouse, which contains passion fruit, pineapple, and spicy orange habanero peppers. These drinks also contain a selection of nootropic ingredients: Bacopa, Ribose, Maca, Cordyceps, Reishi, zinc, theanine, pepper, chaga, butterfly pea, L-arginine, L-citrulline and vitamin B6.
