Oakmont, Pa. — Brooks Koepka’s third round at the US Open 2025 proved challenging, as the five-time major champion carded a 3-over 73. His current aggregate stands at 5-over, placing him nine shots behind the leader.
Koepka began Saturday at 2-over. The start was rough, with a bogey on the first hole followed by two more on the front nine, resulting in a 38. On the back nine, the 35-year-old golfer parred seven consecutive holes before a birdie on the 17th. A three-putt on the 18th, however, brought him back to 3-over for the day.
Following the third round, Koepka is tied for 21st. Sam Burns grabbed the lead with a 1-under 69. J.J. Spaun, after a bogey on the 18th, shot an even-par 70 and is now tied for second with Adam Scott. Scott fired a 3-under 67.
