Bruno Mars Named 2026 Record Store Day Ambassador
Bruno Mars will serve as the 2026 Record Store Day ambassador, organizers announced Friday, as the artist prepares to release his new album, The Romantic, and embark on a global stadium tour.
The announcement from Record Store day coincides with the Feb. 27 release of The Romantic via Atlantic Records and Mars’ upcoming world tour. Tour dates and venues were announced earlier this week by Billboard.
Mars joins a distinguished group of past Record Store Day ambassadors, including Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Paramore, Ozzy Osbourne, Jack White, Chuck D, Pearl Jam, and Metallica.
“You get the chance to immerse yourself, surround yourself with music,” Mars said in a statement. ”I love being able to physically be surrounded by music. Not just staring at your phone and downloading something or listening to something on your phone, but to actually see all of it.”
Record Store Day 2026 will be held on april 18.
