Bryan Danielson Condemns Raja Jackson‘s Attack on Syko Stu as “Irresponsible”
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Bryan Danielson has criticized the recent incident involving Raja Jackson, son of mixed martial artist Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, calling the attack on independent wrestler Syko Stu “pretty irresponsible on a lot of different levels.” Danielson shared his thoughts with Josh Mansour on the UNSCRIPTED podcast, discussing a viral video showing Jackson knocking out Stu at a KnokX Experience event and subsequently delivering over 20 unprotected strikes to the head.
While acknowledging he lacked complete context, Danielson was direct in his assessment. “I’ve seen the clip. I have no context for what actually happened. It seems pretty irresponsible on a lot of different levels,” he stated.
Professionalism in Wrestling
Danielson emphasized the importance of professionalism within the wrestling ring, even in situations involving personal conflict. “I have been in the ring with people who, we don’t necessarily get along, but there is professionalism,” he explained. He further questioned Jackson’s status as a professional wrestler, stating, “I don’t think Rampage’s son is a professional wrestler.I don’t know who (orchestrated it). There is a certain degree of professionalism you have to have to call yourself a professional wrestler, and that’s not it.”
Incident Details and Aftermath
Raja Jackson was arrested and charged with a felony following the incident. WrestlingNews.co reports the attack followed a prior altercation where stu struck Jackson with a beer can outside the venue. The two initially appeared to have reached an agreement and shook hands, leading Stu to believe they were “working” a planned spot. However, the in-ring sequence escalated beyond the agreed-upon parameters.
