BTS J-Hope selected as an assistant for the 36th Division Recruit Training Center… second after gin

BTS group member J-Hope (29, real name Jeong Ho-seok) became an assistant instructor at the Army Recruit Training Center.

According to army officials on the 31st, J-Hope was recently selected as an assistant instructor at the 36th Division Recruit Training Center. After passing the educational qualification certification evaluation for a certain period of time, he intends to perform his teaching assistant duties.

As a result, J-Hope is the second to serve as a teaching assistant after Jin (30, Kim Seok-jin), the eldest brother of BTS. Jin is currently serving as an assistant instructor at the 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do.

On the 24th, J-Hope completed the basic military training course as a trainee in the 23rd-5th class of the 36th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Wonju City, Gangwon Province.

At the time, he said on Weverse, a fan community platform, “Army, you have completed well. The letters and support you sent were very helpful and I was able to train hard.” He added, “I will work hard for the rest of my military service and show you a good image. I love you.”

J-Hope enlisted in the army in April. The expected release date is October 17, 2024.
